By downloading, installing, or using the DiaLiv mobile application (“App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. About DiaLiv

DiaLiv is a Personal Health Record (PHR) application designed to help users record, store, and track dialysis-related health information.

DiaLiv is not a medical device, not a healthcare provider, and does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. User Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use DiaLiv.
  • By using the App, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and truthful.

3. User Account & Authentication

  • Login is provided via Phone Number and OTP verification.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • DiaLiv is not responsible for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

4. Health Data Responsibility

All health data entered into DiaLiv is user-provided. DiaLiv does not verify the accuracy of entered values.

Users are solely responsible for:

  • Correctness of data
  • Interpretation of health information
  • Medical decisions based on the data
Always consult a licensed medical professional before making health decisions.

5. Medical Disclaimer

DiaLiv does not:

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Predict health outcomes
  • Replace professional medical consultation

The App is for informational and record-keeping purposes only.

6. Data Storage & Security

  • Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase services.
  • We take reasonable measures to protect your data.
  • However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
  • Refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed data handling practices.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App for illegal purposes.
  • Submit false or misleading health information.
  • Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App.
  • Upload harmful or malicious content.

Violation may result in account suspension or termination.

8. Data Ownership & Deletion

  • You retain full ownership of your data.
  • You may export or delete your data at any time.
  • Account deletion permanently removes your data and cannot be undone.

9. Third-Party Services

DiaLiv uses third-party services such as:

  • Firebase Authentication
  • Cloud Firestore
  • Google AdMob (for advertisements)

We are not responsible for service interruptions caused by third-party providers or the content of third-party advertisements displayed in the App.

10. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. By using the App, you acknowledge that:

  • We do not control the direct content of third-party ads.
  • Clicking on any advertisement is at your own risk and will direct you to third-party websites not operated by DiaLiv.
  • We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party websites.

11. Service Availability

  • DiaLiv is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • Features may change, be suspended, or removed without notice.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiaLiv and its developers shall not be liable for:

  • Medical decisions made based on app data
  • Data loss due to technical failures
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use the App at your own risk.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of updated Terms.

14. Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
  • Discontinue the App at any time.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

16. Future Paid Features

DiaLiv is currently provided as a free application. In the future, certain features or services may be offered as paid or subscription-based features.

If introduced:

  • Pricing details will be clearly displayed.
  • User consent will be required before any payment.
  • Applicable Terms and refund policies will be provided at that time.
  • No charges will be applied without explicit user approval.
